About

Graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine places you in a distinguished category of individuals. Whether you earned your degree in 1959 or 2009, you have received your training and education at one of the finest veterinary colleges in the country. This common connection unites our alumni, and the hard work and dedication of our members make our alumni society an outstanding organization. Through your pride and support, the society helps promote the continued tradition of excellence at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Each year you help raise funds through participation in events such as the golf outing and the auction held during Alumni Reunion Weekend. These funds and a portion of your dues were used to enhance the students’ education, offer more scholarships, and sponsor events such as First Year Orientation, the White Coat Ceremony, and the Oath and Hooding Ceremony. Your continued support will play a vital role in helping Ohio State produce outstanding veterinarians who are our future colleagues.

There are many ways in which you can support the college. One way is to simply renew your membership in the Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society. Our goal this year is to have the highest percentage of dues-paying members of any professional alumni society at Ohio State.

  1. I may be missing it, but I am having a difficult time finding a way to renew my membership online. This should be far easier!

    • Hello, Jody! Using the navigational bar at the top, click on “Membership/Donate” (http://www.osucvmalumni.com/membershipdonate). Click on the item that says “Alumni Society Annual Membership Dues.” The classes of 2009 and 2010 have their own items, as their membership prices are lower as recent graduates. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way, or if you have any ideas on how to make this process simpler.
